John Barton has published nine books of poetry and five chapbooks, including Hypothesis (2001) and Hymn (2009). His selected poems, For the Boy with the Eyes of the Virgin, is forthcoming from Nightwood Editions in 2012. Co-editor of Seminal: The Anthology of Canada’s Gay-Male Poets (2007), he lives in Victoria, where he edits The Malahat Review.
