Third Frame

Untitled (396.19). Toronto, 2009. Photo by R. Kolewe. (click to enlarge)

In this piece poets Jenny Sampirisi and Aaron Tucker have caught the energy of the explosion of pigeons in an winter alleyway that the image shows us, without becoming descriptive. The poem performs flight.  At the same time it gives us an insight into the conceptual tangle of the urban context evoked by the photograph.
